Rockies Vs. Royals Final Score: Colorado Falls, 5-2, To Kansas City

While the final result isn't the most important thing in Spring Training, there is no doubt that the Colorado Rockies would do just about anything to earn a victory at this point. Unfortunately, the quest for a win will wait another day, as the Rockies fell 5-2 against the Kansas City Royals for their fifth consecutive loss.

Both starting pitchers performed well in this meeting, with Jhoulys Chacin pitching three innings and allowing only one run. Chacin struck out three batters and allowed three hits during his time on the mound. Unfortunately, Chacin couldn't quite match Luis Mendoza, who went four innings and allowed only two hits and no runs.

The Rockies struggled to generate much offense in the loss, despite picking up nine hits. Wilkin Castillo and Brandon Wood each drove in a run for Colorado, with Wood batting 3-for-3 and falling a home run short of the cycle.
