The Colorado Rockies return to Coors Field to face the NL West-leading Arizona Diamondbacks (80-60). The Snakes hold a seven-game lead over the second-place San Francisco Giants and a 14-game lead over the fourth-place Rockies. They enter this series on a two-game winning streak, sending the Giants to defeat over the weekend.

They will turn to Wade Miley (2-1, 3.94 ERA), who made his last against the Rockies. At Chase Field, Miley held the Rockies to two runs in six innings, walking one and striking out three. This will be just his fourth start and his third on the road. The Rockies should try to work the count on Miley, as he has had issues with the strike zone in his other starts.

Esmil Rogers (6-4, 5.94 ERA) has had four straight starts that have all been similar. He's allowed four runs in each of those starts and taken the loss in three of them. His last start did come against the Snakes in Arizona. He was burned in the first inning on a Miguel Montero three-run home run. He allowed another run in the sixth inning, but that was enough for the loss since the Rockies scored just two runs.

First pitch is scheduled for 1:10 p.m. MT.
