Rockies Vs. Padres: Alex White Seeks 1st Victory With Colorado

The Colorado Rockies could use another strong pitching performance after Friday night's seven shutout innings from Kevin Millwood. The Rockies also gave him three runs of support in the 3-0 victory.

Alex White (0-1, 7.50 ERA) makes his third start for the Rockies after two lackluster performances. White allowed five runs in each of his first two starts. He also completely lost the strike zone in his second start by walking six batters. Third time's a charm, hopefully.

The Padres start Cory Luebke (5-7, 3.01 ERA) for the 13th time this season. Luebke entered the rotation at the end of June after relieving for the first three months of the season. He held the Rockies scoreless in his six relief outings. Luebke's usually been good for six or seven innings, but in his last start he failed to complete the sixth. He allowed three runs and took the 6-1 loss.

First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 p.m. MT
