Just three games remain in the 2011 season for the Colorado Rockies and none too soon. The Rockies are on the road against the San Francisco Giants for three games before hanging up the cleats for a few months. The defending World Series champions will also call it a season as they do not have enough games remaining to make up ground in the Wild Card race.

Jhoulys Chacin (11-13, 3.66 ERA) will be a big part of the Rockies' move forward in 2012. He became the de facto ace of the staff when Ubaldo Jimenez trade went down, but he didn't respond well to that. He's gone 3-6 with a 4.48 ERA since the All-Star Break. He lost in his last start, a 2-1 decision in favor of the Padres. He allowed two runs in six innings, but Mat Latos got the better of the Rockies. Latos had a shutout going into the ninth inning.

Ryan Vogelsong (12-7, 2.81 ERA) has won his last two games, including a start against the Rockies at Coors Field. However, Vogelsong was unable to pitch longer than five-plus innings in either game. Still, he allowed just two runs to the Rockies before four runs scored in his start against the Dodgers.

The Rockies are on a two-game winning streak following their nine-game losing streak. First pitch is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. MT
