The Colorado Rockies return to Coors Field for their final homestand of the season. They are 38-36 at home with seven games to go. The San Francisco Giants will test the Rockies' ability at home once again.

Ryan Vogelsong (10-7, 2.66 ERA) has lost his last five starts, dating back to the middle of August. In only one of those starts did he pitch less than seven innings. But those losses came as a result of little offense by the Giants. He had just four runs of support in those five games.

Vogelsong picked up the win in both starts he had against the Rockies this season, though this will be his first at Coors Field. In May he threw 6-1/3 scoreless innings and then followed that up in June with eight innings of one-run ball. In his return to the majors, Vogelsong did throw 1-1/3 scoreless innings of relief against the Rockies at Coors Field.

Jhoulys Chacin (11-11, 3.64 ERA) fought tonsillitis recently and is having his innings pitched managed down the stretch of this season. This will be just his second start against the Giants this season, allowing one run in six inning back in June.

First pitch is scheduled for 6:40 p.m. MT.
