Rockies Vs. Giants: Jhoulys Chacin Ready For San Francisco

The Colorado Rockies and the San Francisco Giants are at it again after Friday night's game. This is a Saturday afternoon game, so it's shown regionally on FOX. Tune in to KDVR-31 in Colorado at 2:10 p.m.

Jhoulys Chacin makes his first start against the Giants this season, but his one career start at AT&T Park was strong. He threw seven shutout innings and allowed just one hit. He struck out seven and walked none. After his last two starts, both losses, Chacin could use a start like that. He did have one like that three starts ago against the Phillies, allowing one run on four hits in seven innings and striking out nine. In his last two starts combined, Chacin allowed nine runs in 13 innings but did strike out 11.

For the Giants, Madison Bumgarner will make his second start against the Rockies and at AT&T Park again. In that start, Bumgarner pitched into the seventh inning before his costly throwing error eventually led to two runs scoring. He left with the game tied at two. But the Giants went on to win the game, 3-2, on a walkoff sacrifice fly in the bottom of the ninth.
