In the latest non-serious MLB Power Rankings by Grant over at Baseball Nation, this week's rankings are based on who is the most annoying. The top five was pretty easy to predict with the White Sox's A.J. Pierzynski, the Mets' Francisco Rodriguez, the Yankees (yes, all of them), the Red Sox's Jonathan Papelbon and the Orioles' Luke Scott (he probably needs a certificate other than the ranking to prove it) all there.
↵For the Rockies? Well, Troy Tulowitzki, of course, at No. 16:
↵↵↵He’s the perfect example of a player you’d love on your team, but because he’s not, he’s as annoying as they get. He grew a mullet last year for charity, and it was extra infuriating to watch the party side blow in the breeze as he rounded the bases. And you just knew that if he did it for you team, you’d be like, "Ha! Sweet mullet! I love that guy!"
↵
That's nailed on the head. There's no one else who would fit the bill of being annoying, really. It's the old, "If you weren't my enemy, you'd be my friend" sort of thing. That's how Tulo should be viewed outside of Colorado. If anyone is Colorado does think him annoying, well, that's their own issue.
↵Former Rockies and current Dodger Jamey Carroll makes the list because he takes over David Eckstein's role of being the league pest.
