Reds Vs. Rockies: Jhoulys Chacin Starts 'A' Game, But 'B' Game Against Angels Features Ian Stewart

The Rockies return to Salt River Fields on Monday after a 9-4 road loss to the Oakland Athletics on Sunday. They will face the Cincinnati Reds at 2:10 p.m MT, with Jhoulys Chacin making his fourth start of the spring. He will face Chad Reineke, and Aroldis Chapman is expected to pitch in this game at some point.

Troy Renck has the lineup card for today:

CF Dexter Fowler
C Jordan Pacheco
RF Seth Smith
SS Troy Tulowitzki
1B Todd Helton
3B Ty Wigginton
LF Ryan Spilborghs
2B Jonathan Herrera
P Chacin

Pacheco and Wigginton continue to draw starts with the absence of Ian Stewart. There will be a 'B' game against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim today as well, which will have Ian Stewart and Wilin Rosario in it. If Stewart is not fully recovered from a sprained MCL and a bruised bone in his right knee, Wigginton would likely be the starting third baseman and Pacheco would be the team's third catcher and fill-in infielder.

Rosario is returning from ACL surgery and had a pinch-hit at-bat in previous game. It turned into a double-play when Hernan Iribarren went on the hit-and-run, only to see the hit turn into a pop out in foul territory. Iribarren was already at second when he was doubled off at first base.

There is no radio or TV coverage today.
