Rockies Host Their First Game At Salt River Fields Against Diamondbacks

The Colorado Rockies are 2-0 at Salt River Fields as the road team. Today, the Rockies host their first game there and it's against the Arizona Diamondbacks, with whom they share the facilities. Jason Hammel will get his first start of the spring and Carlos Gonzalez will return to the lineup following his collision with Ian Stewart in Sunday's game.

The Rockies' official Twitter feed has today's lineup:

According to Troy Renck, Franklin Morales, Matt Lindstrom, Matt Daley, Claudio Vargas, Andrew Johnston and Bruce Billings will also pitch in this game. AZ Snakepit reports the Diamondbacks will have the following pitchers on the mound: Joe Saunders to start and then Wade Miley, Juan Gutierrez, Mike Hampton, Brian Sweeney, Micah Owings and Yonata Ortega.

This will be the last game between the two teams until March 12 when they play a split-squad game.

First pitch is scheduled for 1:10 p.m. MT. FSN Rocky Mountain will cover the game on its Squeeze Play show at 7:00 p.m. MT.
