Colorado Rockies prospect and Clemson Tigers starting QB Kyle Parker plays the Miami Hurricanes this Saturday. Everyone hold their breath because we want Parker to avoid any more helmet hits to the back.
↵Steven Gorten at the Sun-Sentinel recently talked with Parker, and the more I learn about this guy the more of a great competitor I learn he is. Check this out:
↵↵↵I’ve heard you played in Clemson’s spring football game and a baseball doubleheader on the same day. What was that like?
↵"Two years ago, I played in the football game here and then the doubleheader here also against Miami. It was pretty cool. I played well in both of them. It was kind of exhausting, but it was fun. You can always say you did it."
↵
Parker doesn't know when to say quit. This bodes well for him as he makes his way up through the minors to Denver.
