Phoenix, AZ (Sports Network) - Stephen Drew homered and knocked in four runs, and the Diamondbacks overcame six RBI from Carlos Gonzalez and held off the Rockies, 10-9, for a three-game sweep, hampering Colorado's chances for postseason play.
The Rockies trailed 8-2 going to the seventh inning, but Gonzalez connected for his first career grand slam. He added a two-run single in a three-run ninth inning, but Juan Gutierrez struck out Melvin Mora to end the game, leaving runners at first and second base.
Colorado is 3 1/2 games behind both NL West-leading San Francisco and wild card-leading Atlanta. The Rockies have a huge opportunity to gain ground this weekend as they host the Giants for three games.
Kelly Johnson had three hits, including a two-run homer, for Arizona.
