Rockies' Seth Smith To Speak At Wild Game Dinner

You can take the boy out of Mississippi, but you can't take Mississippi out of the boy. The boy can also take a plane back to Mississippi and deliver a talk during Mississippi College's annual Wild Game dinner.

That's what Seth Smith will do on Nov. 11. Smith is a native of Jackson, Miss. and attended Ole Miss as Eli Manning's backup quarterback. He joins a list of former speakers who are mostly big names in Mississippi:

Big names in the sports world have appeared as Wild Game Dinner speakers. The list includes former Ole Miss Chancellor Robert Khayat, a Rebels football star who played with the Washington Redskins; former Major League Baseball pitcher Jeff Brantley; former Lady Rebels basketball coach Van Chancellor, and ex-Mississippi State head football coach Sylvester Croom.
