Craig Calcaterra at NBC Sports has been reviewing the Best and Worst of MLB uniforms, and today he takes a look at the Colorado Rockies, with plenty of unflattering statements.
↵↵↵Someone with the Rockies’ organization should be forced to get in their car and drive around the Rocky Mountains for a week or two. When they get back, they should try to incorporate some of that raw beauty into the Rockies’ color palette.

And you know what? He's right. The Rockies may have the purple pinstripes as their claim to fame, but it's hardly original. The purple vests may be garish, but at least they are unique around baseball. (Though they don't sell very many jerseys...)
↵Enough of the boring old gray vests. Ubaldo Jimenez may like them, but they don't make for a great baseball uniform.
