MLS Standings 2012: Colorado Rapids Sit In 5th Place In Western Conference

The Colorado Rapids dropped a 1-0 decision to the Vancouver Whitecaps over the weekend, which dropped their overall record to 6-7-1. The Rapids are in fifth place in the Western Conference, 13 points behind first place Real Salt Lake.

1. Real Salt Lake (32 points)
2. San Jose Earthquakes (27)
3. Vancouver Whitecaps FC (25)
4. Seattle Sounders FC (24)
5. Colorado Rapids (19)
6. Chivas USA (15)
7. LA Galaxy (14)
8. Portland Timbers (13)
9. FC Dallas (13)

The Rapids have a couple of opportunities to make up some ground in what's left of June -- they'll host San Jose on the 20th and Portland on the 30th.
