The long-standing rivalry between the Colorado Buffaloes and the Utah Utes was revived after four decades in 2011 when the two schools joined the Pac-12 Conference, and they'll face off again on Friday. It will be the final game of the season for both teams, and the Buffs will be looking for both their second conference win and second win overall of the season.
Though the Buffs have an awful 1-10 record so far in 2012, the Utes are not doing much better. After a 2-1 start to the year, they lost four straight games and come into the game against the Buffaloes at 4-7 overall with a 2-6 conference record. They have not won a game away from Rice-Eccles Stadium this year.
Colorado took the win last season when the two teams met, ruining the Utes' chance at winning the Pac-12 South with a 17-14 victory. It was Colorado's second ever conference win in the Pac-12.
The game will be at Folsom Field at 1 p.m. MT. It will be televised on FOX.
