Washington vs. Colorado: Buffs continue march to Pac-12 cellar

Colorado's woeful first season in the Pac-12 continues Saturday against Washington.

Another new Pac-12 foe awaits the Colorado Buffaloes in their inaugural season in the conference on Saturday. The Buffs host new blood rival Washington while still seeking their second win of the season.

It's been a long first year away from the Big 12 for Colorado, which has struggled to a 1-9 overall record that includes only one win in the Pac-12. That came against the other team from the Apple State, 35-24 over Washington State on Sept. 22. The Buffaloes are looking to avoid their seventh straight loss overall.

It's been an all-around bad season statistically for Colorado. The Buffaloes rank near the bottom in almost all major team categories: On offense they rank 106th in rushing with 112.1 yards per game, 99th in passing with 195.3 yards per game, and it's no better on defense -- 110th against the run (227.6) and 105th against the pass (277.4).

Saturday's game between Washington and Colorado kicks off at 11:30 a.m. MT and will be televised by FX.
