Mitch Parsons, a four-star tight end Rivals prospect and current Colorado Buffaloes commit, could be getting an offer from the Oklahoma Sooners, according to a report from Robert Cassidy of Yahoo!/Rivals via Twitter.
The Sooners, according to Cassidy's tweet, are giving strong consideration to pursuing Parsons, who is from Chaparral, Colo., and, prior to committing to the Buffaloes, was also considering the Colorado State Rams, Northern Colorado Bears and Mississippi Rebels.
If Oklahoma were to make an offer, Cassidy additionally tweeted, "Let's just say I don't like the Buffs' chances going head-to-head with Oklahoma."
Colorado is currently in the midst of a 1-4 (1-1 in the Pac-12) season, with their only win coming on the road against the Washington State Cougars, 35-34, on Sept. 22.
Meanwhile, the Sooners are 3-1 overall (1-1 in the Big 12), with their lone loss suffered at the hands of the unbeaten and conference-leading Kansas State Wildcats on Sept. 22.
