Another recruit gave a verbal commitment to the Colorado Buffaloes' football team on Monday: Houston defensive end Marcus Loud. The news was broken on twitter by Rivals.com's Adam Munsterteiger on Monday.
Houston DE Marcus Loud just confirmed he decided to verbally commit to #CUBuffs.— Adam Munsterteiger (@adamcm777) October 1, 2012
The 6'4, 235-pound strong side defensive end from Wheatley High School in Houston had originally had a verbal commitment with the Missouri Tigers, but changed his mind after visiting Colorado during their game against UCLA over the weekend. His laundry list of other schools that were interested included several high-profile programs, including Michigan State, TCU and Texas Tech.
According to Rivals, Loud is the 25th-best defensive end in the country and is a three-star recruit.
