The Colorado Buffaloes had a great offensive night as they nearly hit the century mark in their 98-51 win over Northern Arizona Friday night. This game was pretty much decided in the first half as Colorado 57-21 lead at the half. Within the first 10 minutes of the first half Colorado led 31-8, and from that point on Colorado was in complete control.
Colorado's offense was on fire as they shot an astounding 66.7 percent from the field, and also made 11-of-20 from beyond the arc. There were five Buffalo players who scored in double-digits with Askia Booker and Xavier Johnson who each scored 17 points, and for Johnson it was a season-high.
Their defense played equally as well by holding Northern Arizona to just 31 percent from the field, and 25 percent from three-point range. Northern Arizona was led by DeWayne Russell who scored 15 points and Max Jacobsen had 10.
With this win, Colorado is 9-2 and is off to tie their best start since they also went 9-2 back in the 1994-95 season.
