Colorado Buffaloes forward Andre Roberson has been named to the John R. Wooden Award preseason top 50 list that was revealed Thursday morning by Myron Medcalf of ESPN.com.
The 6'7 junior averaged 11.6 points, 11.1 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game for the Buffaloes last season, and led the Pac-12 in rebounds and blocked shots.
Roberson is joined on the list by BYU Cougars forward Brandon Davies, who returns as the West Coast Conference's premier post player. Davies averaged 15.2 points and 7.7 rebounds per game for the Cougars last year.
UNLV's well-rounded forward, Mike Moser also appears on the preseason top 50 list. Moser averaged 14.0 points and 10.5 rebounds per game for a Running Rebels squad that finished the 2011-12 season with an impressive 26-9 record.
The complete top 50 list -- as well as potential freshman and transfers who might be added as the season progresses -- can be found here.
