Last season ended for the Colorado Buffaloes basketball team when they were eliminated by the Baylor Bears in the NCAA Tournament, and they'll get a quick chance for revenge as the Buffs meet the No. 16 Bears in an early season rematch Friday. The game will be a semifinal match for the Charleston Classic tournament, with the Buffs winning their first game of the tournament against the Dayton Flyers on Thursday.
Baylor (3-0) has gotten off to another strong start this season, led by the scoring prowess of Pierre Jackson. The senior guard has dished out 23.3 points per game so far this season and led the Bears with a 31-point performance against Boston College in their latest win. Andre Roberson has run the show so far for Colorado, leading the team in rebounds and assists while putting up 6.5 points per game.
The winner of the game between the St. John's Red Storm and Murray State Racers will meet the winner of the Bears-Buffs game in the final of the tournament.
The game will be at TD Arena at 10:30 a.m. MT. It will be televised on ESPNU.
