Colorado Vs. Washington State 2012: Buffaloes Earn Much-Needed First Victory Of The Season

The Colorado Buffaloes earned their first victory of the season in come-from-behind fashion on Saturday, taking down the host Washington State Cougars, 35-34. Colorado scored three touchdowns in the fourth quarter to earn the victory, the final blow being a Jordan Webb touchdown run in the final minute that capped a 13-play, 70-yard Buffaloes drive.

Needless to say, the gang over at SB Nation's Colorado blog The Ralphie Report was happy with what transpired on Saturday:

We really needed that, the players really needed that, and this embattled coaching staff REALLY needed that. While Washington State isn't great, that was definitely something worth cheering for. I'm happy. It's only one game, but I'm happy.

Colorado will put their one-game winning streak on the line next Saturday when the Buffaloes host the UCLA Bruins. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. MT.
