Since losing to their in-state rival, Colorado State, in the season opener, things have only got worse for the Colorado Buffaloes. After getting upset by Sacramento State, the Buffs traveled to play Fresno State and were subsequently embarrassed, 69-14.
Now they'll have to try and stop the bleeding when they travel to make their Pac-12 season debut on Saturday against the Washington State Cougars. After a loss in their opener against BYU, the Cougars have since bounced back with consecutive wins over Eastern Washington and UNLV.
Last place in the Pac-12/Pac-10 conference in each of the last three seasons, the Cougars hope to start off conference play with a victory over the struggling Buffaloes.
