Colorado Vs. Fresno State: Buffs Show Nothing In 69-14 Loss

The Colorado Buffaloes allowed 55 points in the first half against Fresno State, on their way to a 69-14 defeat and their third-straight loss to start the season.

Fresno State would take a 35-0 lead in the first quarter off five offensive touchdowns, including a 97-yard touchdown reception by Isaiah Burse and a 94-yard run by Robbie Rouse. The Bulldogs would add two more scores in the second quarter before the Buffaloes would finally get on the board with a Jordan Webb 23-yard touchdown pass to Tyler McCulloch.

Fresno State would score twice more in the second half, capping off a dominant performance against a struggling Colorado team. The Bulldogs would outgain the Buffaloes 665-278 in the game, with Colorado managing just 11 first downs in the game and throwing four interceptions overall.

Jordan Webb was 5-of-13 for 85 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions for the game. Connor Wood wasn't much better, going just 5-of-14 for 47 yards and two interceptions.
