The No. 6 Colorado Buffaloes start their journey to the 2012 Pac-12 Tournament championship on Wednesday night in a matchup against the No. 11 seed Utah Utes after failing to secure a first-round bye in the finals weeks of the regular season. If they get the win, a Thursday matchup with the No. 3 Oregon Ducks is waiting for them, and from there they may have to go through the No. 2 California Golden Bears and top-seeded Washington Huskies if the seeding holds the rest of the way.
First-team All Pac-12 and All-Defensive forward Andre Roberson will need to bring his "A" game, and leading scorer Carlon Brown -- who made the All Pac-12 Second team -- is another player the Buffaloes have to lean on heavily for strong performances. Spencer Dinwiddie (an All-Freshman team member) can shoulder a bit of the lead, but Roberson and Brown are the key to success in the conference tournament.
