Colorado Football Recruiting: TE Mitch Parsons Commits To Buffaloes

The Colorado Buffaloes have won the race for the services of high school tight end Mitch Parsons. Parsons, a 4-star prospect according to Rivals, choose the Buffaloes over the Colorado State Rams, Northern Colorado Bears and Mississippi Rebels. Kyle Ringo was first to report the news:

Ringo, who hails from nearby Chaparral, is a big get for the Buffaloes, particularly since he's a homegrown kid. Head coach Jon Embree has placed an emphasis keeping the state's talent home for college, and Parsons' commitment is proof that, to an extent, it's working.

The Buffs and Rams are also competing for defensive end Austin Berk.
