Despite their surprising success in the Pac-12 this season, the Colorado Buffaloes never quite figured out how to beat the top competition on the road. The road struggles continued on this trip to Corvallis, as the Buffs were run off the court in the second half of the 83-69 loss to Oregon St.
The Buffs were particularly careless with the ball in the loss, committing 14 turnovers, while only dishing out seven assists as a team. Andre Roberson had success in the paint, scoring 14 points and grabbing nine rebounds in just 19 minutes of action. Askia Booker used his speed to provide a spark, scoring a team-high 15 points on 6/11 shooting.
Oregon St. did an excellent job attacking the rim and finishing, as it shot 53.7% from the field. Ahmad Starks shot 7/11 and scored a game-high 18 points, while Jared Cunningham added 15 points. Devon Collier controlled the paint, scoring 11 points and grabbing nine rebounds.
