NCAA Bracket Predictions: Will Ohio Upset North Carolina?

It's time for the last half of the Sweet 16 games in the 2012 NCAA Tournament to take place. On Thursday night, Syracuse, Louisville, Ohio State and Florida all advanced to the Elite Eight. On Friday night, we could potentially have three double-digit seeds advance to the next round, but will any of them.

Predictions for these games will be based on which team has the fewest letters in its university name:

No. 3 Baylor Bears vs. No. 10 Xavier Musketeers (Atlanta): 5:15 p.m. MT on CBS - Both Baylor and Xavier are six letters long, which must send us to a tie-breaker. The shorter nickname is Bears, meaning BAYLOR wins this game.

No. 1 Kentucky Wildcats vs. No. 4 Indiana Hoosiers (Atlanta): 7:45 p.m. MT on CBS - We have a tie in both the university name and the nickname. Um, KENTUCKY

No. 1 North Carolina Tar Heels vs. No. 13 Ohio Bobcats (St. Louis): 5:47 p.m. MT on TBS - Ohio pulls off the upset, joining the Ohio St. Buckeyes in the Elite Eight. OHIO

No. 2 Kansas Jayhawks vs. No. 11 N.C. State Wolfpack (St. Louis): 8:17 p.m. MT on TBS - The Jayhawks will head to the Elite Eight. KANSAS
