Colorado Offers Athlete Tyler Williams

The Colorado Buffaloes have offered their second cornerback in the 2013 class in Tyler Williams from Oro Valley (Ariz.) Ironwood Ridge. Williams is officially list as an athlete and primarily played quarterback in high school and this past season he accounted for 1,900 yards of offense and 24 touchdowns.

Williams has only played some on defense in high school, but current Colorado defensive coordinator Greg Brown noticed Williams when he was a the co-defensive coordinator with the Arizona Wildcats.

Williams talks about his offer from Colorado:

"Colorado verbally offered me this winter," Williams said. "Their [defensive coordinator and] defensive backs coach (Greg Brown) was at Arizona for a year but he is back up at Colorado now. He said he really likes what I bring to the table. He sees me as a corner at the next level. He thinks I could make plays for them."

Colorado is the only school that has offered Williams, but he does have interest from Utah, UCLA and Utah. However, Williams also mentioned that his main goal is to get an offer from USC or UCLA
