Sure, the Colorado Buffaloes lost to the Baylor Bears on Saturday night in rather disappointing circumstances. Brady Heslip scored 27 points for the Bears and all that, but at least Colorado fans didn't start chanting something along the lines of what Baylor's fans did. Check it out below:
Oh, really? "Big 12 rejects"? Sure, have a good basketball season and have a football season with the amazing Robert Griffin III so you can sit on your high horse. But, I don't know, what about you guys being Pac-12 rejects? You know, trying to get into the then Pac-10 when it looked as though the Big 12 was going to disappear, having to beg and plead as to why you were better than Colorado, as regent Buddy Jones wrote some time ago (via Brian Floyd):
Baylor is superior to Colorado academically. Baylor has athletic facilities superior to Colorado. Colorado doesn't participate in the number of sports that Baylor does. Baylor's overall record in all collegiate sports dwarfs that of Colorado. Our football, basketball (women's and men's), baseball, softball, track, tennis, golf programs are vastly superior to Colorado's. The Baptist church base extends across the country and certainly trumps the University of Colorado's local base limited to a small town in Colorado.
Wait until Lehigh pulls off the impossible by not only winning on Sunday but then beating you in the Sweet 16.
