We're down to 32 teams in the 2012 NCAA Tournament, and that means even more high drama. From Lehigh's upset over Duke to Norfolk State's over Missouri, the Round of 64 held great underdog victories on Friday, but Saturday's slate of games will feature Thursday's winners, which didn't have that many great upsets besides No. 11 Colorado and No. 12 Virginia Commonwealth advancing.
So, let's base Saturday's predictions on how close the first letter of each school's proper name is to the first letter of the TV station the game will be on:
Syracuse vs. Kansas State, 10:15 a.m. MT, CBS - Down goes Syracuse, the No. 1 seed. And to think, the UNC Asheville Bulldogs almost did this on Thursday. KANSAS STATE
Ohio State vs. Gonzaga, 12:45 p.m. MT, CBS - Gonzaga makes it a second upset to start the day. GONZAGA
Marquette vs. Murray State, 3:15 p.m. MT, CBS - We need to go to the second letter here because of the tie, which means Marquette takes this one. MARQUETTE
Wisconsin vs. Vanderbilt, 4:10 p.m. MT, TNT - Whoa, this is a close one but the Commodores pull out the victory. VANDERBILT
Indiana vs. Virginia Commonwealth, 5:10 p.m. MT, TBS - VCU pulls off another upset! VIRGINIA COMMONWEALTH
Kentucky vs. Iowa State, 5:45 p.m. MT, CBS - Do not mess with the force of nature that is a cyclone. IOWA STATE
Baylor vs. Colorado, 6:40 p.m. MT, TNT - So far, yet so close. Colorado barely edges Baylor on Saturday night. COLORADO
Louisville vs. New Mexico, 7:40 p.m MT, TBS - New Mexico at least provides a better performance for a Mountain West team than the other three did. NEW MEXICO
