The Colorado Buffaloes might pull off the second major upset of the day by joining the No. 12 VCU Rams in the Round of 32. At halftime against No. 6 UNLV, the No. 11 Buffaloes hold an 11-point lead, 36-25.
The Buffaloes held a variety of double-digit point lead during the first half, including a 13-point one around 2:15 left on the clock. Much of this can be attributed to the tea's ferocity around the glass, picking up 27 rebounds. Nine of those came of the offensive glass, two more than the Rebels have defensively. The Buffs are also shooting a crisp 50 percent from the field.
Askia Booker fueled Colorado during the final minutes of the half, finishing with a team-high 12 points. Andre Roberson continue to perform at a high level with eight points and nine rebounds (four offensively).
The Rebels are having a hard time nailing anything from the field, shooting just 27.6 percent. Just four of the team's 16 three-pointers have fallen through the hoop. Mike Moser and Anthony Marshall shared the team-lead in points with six each.
