NCAA Bracket Predictions 2012: Which Teams Complete Field Of 64?

The 2012 NCAA Tournament's Field of 64 will be set on Wednesday night with the final two Final Four games taking place in Dayton, OH. But which of those teams will go one to face a No. 1 seed and the other a No. 5 seed? I went 1-for-2 in my predictions for yesterday's games: BYU advanced but Miss Valley St did not; the former completed a 31-point turnaround by overcoming a 25-point deficit while the latter let a 16-point lead slip away to lose a one-point game, 59-58.

Vermont Catamounts vs. Lamar Cardinals - Whoever wins also loses since the next team waiting for the victor is the No. 1 North Carolina Tar Heels. Lamar's played a pretty tough schedule with game against Louisville, Ohio State and Kentucky. Vermont didn't have any tough opponents such as those teams, which might provide a competitive edge to Lamar. LAMAR

South Florida Bulls vs. California Golden Bears - Will Cal show why the Pac-12 deserved an at-large team in the tournament? They go up against South Florida, which comes out of the Big East, one of the stronger conferences in terms of representation. The Bulls average 59.2 points this season, a problem but one that could be corrected against the Bears. SOUTH FLORIDA
