CIT 2012: Weber State Will Play In CollegeInsider.com Tournament Rather Than NIT

The Weber St. Wildcats, it turns out won't be in contention for a spot in the National Invitation Tournament (NIT) after finishing in second in both the Big Sky regular season and the conference tournament. They will play Utah Valley in the CollegeInsider.com Tournament, reports Matt Petersen of the Daily Herald.

The CIT is in the bottom half of postseason tournaments, hanging right there with the College Basketball Invitational. Damian Lillard might now end his junior season with the Wildcats in relative obscurity before a potential move to the NBA.
