After a successful regular season, the Colorado Buffaloes have landed the No. 11 seed in the South region for this year's NCAA Tournament, as the selection committee announced on Sunday. The Buffaloes were hanging on as a long-shot bubble team before they won the Pac-12 Tournament title on Saturday evening.

The South region won't be quite as easy as the Pac-12 Tournament was, given the lack of great success the conference had this season. In the second round of the tournament, the Buffaloes will be facing sixth-seeded UNLV, with the winner moving on to face either No. 3 seeded Baylor or No. 14 seeded South Dakota State in the third round.

If the Buffs have some success early in the tournament, they could eventually face the likes of Kentucky or Duke, the region's top two seeds, in later rounds.
