2012 NFL Combine Results: Boise State Defensive Linemen Run Their 40-Yard Dashes

A trio of Boise St. Broncos defensive linemen has completed their 40-yard dashes at the 2012 NFL Combine on Monday, the penultimate day of the event. Tyrone Crawford, Shea McClellin and Billy Winn all ran the event on Monday morning, coming in with times of 5.00 seconds or better.

McClellin was the best with a 4.63 official time. That should help improve his draft stock and make him a good defensive end prospect. It is also possible that a team might want to try him as a linebacker, but he worked out as a defensive lineman at the Combine. Tyrone Crawford followed with a 4.89 second run and defensive tackle Billy Winn came in at 5.00 (and to make an unnecessary comparison, DT Dontari Poe is nearly 350 pounds and ran a 4.87 40).
