2012 NFL Mock Draft: Combine Changes Nothing For Broncos In Latest Projection

The 2012 NFL Combine is in Day 6 on Monday, which means all of the offensive players are finished and the defensive players remain. And it also means there are enough results in that we can start to see significant changes in projecting picks for each team in the latest round of NFL mock drafts. Or not. In David Fucillo's latest 2012 NFL mock draft, the Denver Broncos still go with Michigan St. Spartans defensive tackle Jerel Worthy.

There's only so many ways for the last few months to say that drafting a defensive tackle makes sense for the Broncos. Last week, John Elway did confirm that defensive tackle is one of the overriding concerns for the team this offseason, so we know that this would not be an unexpected pick for the Broncos.

But if Alabama running back Trent Richardson or teammate cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick fell to the No. 25 pick, either would like be selected over a defensive tackle.
