After a listless performance in a home loss to Stanford, the Colorado Buffaloes knew how important this game against Cal was in terms of seeding in the upcoming Pac-12 Conference Tournament. With a great crowd cheering on the Buffs on senior day, Colorado delivered an impressive opening half to take a 32-25 lead.
The Buffs used their depth to take the early lead, with eight different guys scoring in the opening half. Freshman guard Spencer Dinwiddie scored seven points and grabbed two rebounds, while Andre Roberson used his length and athleticism to score five points and pull down seven boards.
Harper Kamp and Allen Crabbe led the way for Cal in the opening half, with both scoring eight points. Crabbe showed off his impressive range from the perimeter, hitting 2/4 from behind the three-point line. However, the rest of the Golden Bears struggled, as Cal shot only 9/26 from the field as a team.
