2012 NFL Combine: Denver Broncos Like Brandon Weeden, Brock Osweiler

The Denver Broncos have come away impressed with quarterbacks Brandon Weeden and Brock Osweiler after meeting with both of them recently, according to Mike Klis of the Denver Post. Denver picks No. 25 overall in the draft and could potentially select a new quarterback there.

While fans are admittedly enamored with current Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow, the team continues to survey other options while acknowledging that the former Florida Gator still isn't a sure thing. Weeden, the 28-year-old QB out of Oklahoma State, is considered to be an impressive pure passer, but it's hard for teams to ignore how unusually old he is for a prospect.

Osweiler also impressed the Broncos, according to Klis. Osweiler, a one-year starter at Arizona State before declaring for the draft, is an impressive athlete standing at 6-foot-7, but he didn't participate in any combine drills while recovering from a sprained foot. Klis says that both players are expected to be selected in the second round.
