Colorado Buffaloes 2012 Football Confounds ESPN

With spring practice a couple weeks away and the spring game about two months away, the Colorado Buffaloes will still be the team that went 3-10 during its first season in the Pac-12. ESPN's Pac-12 blog has previewed the South division in the conference and not quite sure what to make of the Buffs:

But there is also the possibility that things might get worse before they get better. With just four returning starters on offense, spring in Boulder will likely be more about teaching and less about refining.

The Buffs are going to break in a new quarterback, Connor Wood, most likely, and will need to have its defense be able to play better against high-powered offenses like Oregon's and Stanford's, even with those teams replacing their quarterbacks.

Let's hope the spring game provides some answers.
