Washington Vs. Colorado Final Score: Buffaloes Win 87-69 To Stay Unbeaten In Pac-12 Play

The Colorado Buffaloes defeated the Washington Huskies by a score of 87-69 on Thursday night in a battle of Pac-12 opponents. The Buffaloes are now 2-0 against conference foes this season after crushing Utah by 40 points on Dec. 31, one of four teams in the Pac-12 to be unbeaten in conference games so far this season.

Washington actually got out to a 7-0 lead to begin the game and extended the lead to 14-5 roughly eight minutes into the first half. Colorado finally burst into action at that point, though, proceeding to go on a 16-4 run that would give it a 21-18 lead. The Buffaloes ended up leading 40-30 at halftime, although they wouldn't pull away until the middle of the second half. After the Huskies cut the lead to 11 at one point, the Buffaloes went on a 10-0 run that essentially put the game out of reach.

Overall, the Buffaloes had five different players score in double-figures, led by Carlon Brown's 18 points. Colorado also got 13 points apiece from Spencer Dinwiddie and Austin Dufault, The Huskies really struggled on offense, shooting just 37 percent from the field. Freshman guard Tony Wroten was the big performer for Washington, scoring 21 points, grabbing 6 rebounds and recording 7 steals.
