Colorado Football Projected To Finish Last In Pac-12 South By Jon Wilner

National Signing Day 2012 isn't for another week and we haven't even gotten close to spring practices yet, but the San Jose Mercury News' Jon Wilner has put up his way-too-early-projections for how the Pac-12 will play out this fall. It doesn't take a whole lot of guess work to figure out where the Colorado Buffaloes come into all of this. Wilner has the Buffs finishing in sixth place in the Pac-12 South.

He sees the Buffs needing a few more recruiting classes to bring up the talent level of the team. He also believes the team might struggle since the team is moving to an inexperienced quarterback in either Connor Wood or Nick Hirschman. Wood is the favorite to take over the position since Hirschman is injured and likely to miss most if not all of spring practice.

There probably isn't much the Buffs can do to improve projections by the time spring practice ends.
