2012 East-West Shrine Game Final Score: Colorado's Tyler Hansen Throws For 144 Yards In West's 24-17 Victory

Former Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Tyler Hansen will take the next few months to show NFL teams why they should spend a late-round pick on him in the 2012 NFL Draft, but he spent Saturday on the gridiron to show evaluators and scouts in attendance what he can do against an all-star team. At the 2012 East-West Shrine Game, Hansen helped lead the West team to a 24-17 victory.

Hansen went 4-of-4 for 49 yards and a rushing touchdown in the first half. He then came out in the second half to finish the game 12-of-17 for 144 yards. He was the best quarterback on the West team, better than Chandler Harnish and Dan Persa. Hansen rushed three times for 18 yards, as well.

The West team was down at halftime, 17-14, but a field goal early in the fourth quarter tied it and then Lennon Creer scored the game-winning touchdown with 57 seconds left in the game.
