A strong defensive performance has the Colorado Buffaloes leading 31-15 over the Arizona State Sun Devils at halftime. Colorado essentially dominated the half, charging out to a 14-3 lead before ultimately getting that lead as high as 17 points.
The Buffaloes knocked down 50 percent of their shots in the first half. The Sun Devils didn't fare nearly as well, shooting 33 percent from the field and 1-for-4 from the free throw line. Arizona State just really struggled to get good shots, getting just one offensive rebound in the entire half while turning the ball over eight times.
Nate Tomlinson leads the Buffaloes in scoring so far with eight points on 3-for-3 shooting and Austin Dufault has added seven points and four rebounds of his own. Chris Colvin has played well for the Sun Devils, scoring 7 points on 3-for-3 shooting, but his teammates are 3-for-15 from the field.
