The Colorado Buffaloes have Tyler Hansen under center for the 2011 season, but after that there's a whole lot of inexperience at the position. Might they add another quarterback to that 2012 pool? According to a tweet by Jason Suchomel of Orangebloods.com, Texas Longhorns backup quarterback Connor Wood is visiting the University of Colorado on Monday for a possible transfer to the school.

With the release of Monday's Longhorns depth chart, Garrett Gilbert was named the Longhorns' starting quarterback while Case McCoy, Colt's younger brother, is the immediate backup. Wood is listed in a tie for third-string with David Ash.

The quarterbacks currently on CU's roster that should be on the 2012 roster are Brent Burnette, Stevie Joe Dorman, Nick Hirschman, John Shrock and true freshman Shane Dillon (a verbal commit right now).
