Dick Vitale Rants About March Madness 2011 Selections, Colorado Included

ESPN's Dick Vitale is a staple on ESPN's college basketball coverage, and his inclusion on their Sunday Selection show included this well-argued rant about the selection process:

Vitale is close to apoplectic during this rant. The Colorado Buffaloes have three wins against Kansas State? A win over Missouri? It's crazy for Colorado to be out, and because of that it is "an injustice. Totally unfair." And then he mentions in his wife to show that even she would put CU in over UAB or VCU. He's also emphatic on the same points with Virginia Tech and Harvard. It definitely was a "raw deal" for Colorado, as Vitale says in the clip.

Gotta hand it to him. Vitale doesn't do that much yelling about these snubs and makes a pretty strong argument that these snubs require an explanation, because it just seems too apparent that Colorado, Virginia Tech and Harvard should have made it in this season.
