Bracketology Predictions 2011 (Update): Colorado, Northern Colorado Learn Their Fates Sunday Afternoon

While the Colorado Buffaloes and the Northern Colorado Bears wait for their official NCAA bracket to be announced, Chris Dobbertean of SB Nation continues his latest Bracketology effort.

For the Colorado Buffaloes, they are in the "Next Four In" category, which means they will automatically make the field of 64. The Buffs are projected as a No. 12 seed) previously an 11-seed) facing the No. 5 seed Georgetown Hoyas in Tucson as part of the Southeast bracket. The Buffs may have their hands full with the Hoyas if that winds up as the actual seeding. The Big East has been a strong conference up-and-down the list the entire season.

As has previously been projected, the Northern Colorado Bears appear headed for a 15 seed in the West regional. They draw the No. 2 seed San Diego St. Aztecs in Tucson. Both teams won their respective conference tournaments, but the Bears will have a tough time staying in the game.

Stay tuned to this StoryStream for updates on where the Buffs and the Bears will play this March Madness.
