Colorado Buffaloes Recruiting: Buffaloes Slip In The Rankings

For the past few months Colorado was near the bottom of the Pac-12's 2011 recruiting class, but as of this morning the Colorado Buffaloes dropped to the 12th spot. The Buffs have not lost any players to other schools, but the reason for the drop is because the Washington State Cougars flew up the Scout.com rankings from 12th to 8th this morning.

Looking at the Cougars class -- at least to me -- nothing stands out to me and they have not picked up any other recruits from other schools. Washington State still has no four-star recruits and they have the same amount of three-star recruits in 10 each. The reason could be the size of the class because Colorado only has 16 commits compared to 25 for Washington State.

Here are some other developing Colorado recruiting stories that have been happening this morning.

There have been two east coast recruits who have sent in their Letter of Intent this morning to make Colorado their official choice; those two players are running back Rashad Hall and Jermaine Clark, who is listed as an athlete.

Also, Brandon Huffman from Scout.com is reporting that linebacker Leilon Willingham is expected to announce tomorrow and wide receiver Devin Lucien will announce at 4 p.m. MT.

Stay tuned to this StoryStream as we look at the stories revolving around the local FBS teams as well as stories about their conferences through signing day.
