Colorado-Kansas Final Score: Jayhawks Rebound Against Buffs, 89-63

Tuesday's loss to the Kansas St. Wildcats didn't negatively affect the No. 1 Kansas Jayhawks on Saturday when they hosted the Colorado Buffaloes. They easily handled the Buffs in an 89-63 victory. The Morris Bros., who both struggled in Tuesday's game, were top performers in the game. Markieff led the Jayhawks with 26 points and 15 rebounds. Marcus added 16 points and nine boards. Their starting five accounted for 81 points.

The Buffaloes bench played even less, which should come as no surprise given the battle the Buffs had today. Andre Roberson had all five bench points as well as a team high seven rebounds. Alec Burks had a team high with 15 points while Cory Higgins followed with 14 points. Levi Knutson and Marcus Relphorde added 13 and 12 points, respectively. As a team, they shot 39.7 percent from the field and made only two of their 16 three-point attempts.

The Buffs (16-11, 5-7 Big 12) face the Texas Tech Raiders on Wednesday, but the big game comes next Saturday when they host the Texas Longhorns. With only four games left before the conference tournament, the Buffs need wins desperately.
