Colorado Vs. Utah Score Update: Buffs Lead By 16 At Halftime

The Colorado Buffaloes have been tough to beat on their home court this season and this trend has continued in the Pac 12 opener, as the Buffs have opened up a 27-11 halftime advantage over the Utah Utes.

Defense was the key in the opening half, as CU held Utah to just 21.4% shooting from the field. The Buffs also dominated on the glass, outrebounding Utah by 15.

On the offensive end of the court, Spencer Dinwiddie was practically unguardable in the first half. Dinwiddie hit 6/10 from the field and netted a team-high 19 points to lead the Buffs to the comfortable advantage. Andre Roberson provided a tough presence in the paint for the Buffs, scoring 11 points and grabbing 11 rebounds to lead CU. Carlon Brown shot the ball well in the opening 20 minutes, hitting 3/5 from the field for eight points.
